I am a Sicilian guitarist & singer-songwriter, based in Milan (Italy).

My third full length album BRING IT ON is available now for streaming and download, but CDs are also on sale here.
BRING IT ON comprises seven new original songs and (for the first time) two covers. I wrote the seven original songs in an unusual rush of inspiration over the span of a week in June 2021, and then set aside to mature until an opportunity presented itself to assemble a band to arrange and record the new record. Thus, drummer Deneb Bucella on drums (Jazz Lab Orchestra, Nation of Giants, Goodwines), guitarist and lap steel player Luca Andrea Crippa (No Rolling Back, Mr. Saturday Night Special, Ruben Minuto Band) and bassist-singer Francesco Michele Naccarato recorded the basic tracks at the “Appartamento Sonoro” (the studio owned by their friend Ruben Minuto) in just one day, on 24th July 2022. Then, a bunch of friends joined as guests: Andrea Palumbo (Rolling Forks, Yellow Dogs) on blues harp, Enrico "Ed The Blues Baker" Damiani (A Little Bit Of Soul) on piano and Hammond organ, and Ruben Minuto on background vocals.

BRING IT ON, more than the previous records, is the result of a collaborative band effort, enriched by the free and creative contribution of each musician who participated, with me taking care of guitars (acoustic, electric, resonator and slide), vocals and production (recording, mixing and mastering).

To round up things, I thought of add a couple of cover songs, and never a choice was easier: I chose them from the repertoires of the two tutelary gods of the recording sessions: John Hiatt ("Train to Birmingham") and Ry Cooder ("Crazy 'bout an automobile").

The music style can be called full fledged Americana here, with episodes in Texan country à la Guy Clark (the initial ballad "A good place to start"), in the Stax-school soul ("Every single smile", "I was there"), in the blues/swing a la B.B. King ("Forget to sing") to the gospel of "Dirty faces", without forgetting the rock energy of the title track. Also, the sound is deliberately raw, in the attempt to reproduce the sound of four friends playing together live in a recording studio.
